~A Wedding In The Country~

~This wedding took place in a very simple little country church in the NC mountains. The bride wore a simple gown, very elegant with a royal blue sash. The bridesmaids wore black tea length dresses with matching royal blue sashes. We chose to use a color scheme that would compliment the royal blue and pop against the black and white. For the bouquets and the church flowers we used pink stargazer lilies, roses and carnations in shades of hot pink and orange, blue and purple delphenimum, with a hint of lime green for extra punch.
The frosted glass church windows were accented with wreaths of fresh Mountain Laurel and hot pink wax flower and we used pillar candles and greenery along the window seals.
The isle was lined with tuelle bows on each pew.
Rather than a traditional flower girl, the one year old daughter of the bride and groom was escorted down the isle, by the ring bearer in a little red wagon decked out in tuelle and accented with little bouquets of roses, wax flower, and cascading greenery.
The entrance to the church was adorned with live fern baskets, tuelle and fresh garland on each hand rail.
For a simple reception in an old schhol which had been turned into the local community building, each table had different sized and shaped glass containers accented with blue stones and filled with single stems of the same flower, using a different color for each table piece.
We also used alot of votives for the reception tables and other tables throughout the room.
This was a beautiful wedding in the simplicity of the countryside of the North Carolina mountains.

50th Wedding Anniversary!

These designs were created for a 50th wedding anniversary celebration!

A Bit Of Flair

This was another very simple ~ very elegant wedding with a bit of flair. The bride chose to carry a large hand tied cluster of white dahilas, white roses, and green hydrangea. The table centerpieces were a combination of either white and hot pink hydrangea or sherbet orange tulips in glass cubes.
The bride chose 3ft. glass cylinders with 5 ft curly willow branches, in which we hung white cymbidium orchids at various lengths~these were used on either side of the tent entrance.

Portrait Bouquet

This was a bouquet that I designed for a bridal portrait consisting of pink and cream roses, white wax flower and delphenimum.

Garden Style Weddeing

This was a garden themed wedding along the New River.
The bride choose shades of creams, pinks, peach and, accented with sage green.
She carried a cascading bouquet of of pink peonies, garden roses, hypericum berries & various greens. Her bridesmaids carried hand~tied clusters of the same.
For the Wedding ceremony site we covered a garden arbor in sheer fabric & cascading flowers. We used victorian style urns as isle markers.
For the reception food table centerpiece, we used galvanized buckets to form a 3~tier cascading waterfall of peonies, garden roses, carnations, stock, and various greens.
